1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers via Firebase Authentication.
- App content: chat messages, uploaded case/format files, and generated legal drafts stored in Firestore for syncing across your devices.
- Subscription data: plan status and payment-related metadata processed via Razorpay (we do not store full card numbers).
- Usage: basic app usage needed to enforce plan limits (e.g. draft counts).
2. How we use information
- To provide AI legal assistance and document drafting (via Google Gemini / related Google AI APIs).
- To sync your chat history securely to your account.
- To process subscriptions and prevent abuse of free/pro limits.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. welcome / verification related messages) when configured.
- To improve drafting quality: we remember anonymized document structure (headings, numbering, legal phrasing style) from generated and saved drafts. Party names, dates, case numbers, and case stories are stripped and are not used as shared learning.
3. Third-party services
- Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore (Google)
- Google Gemini / Generative AI APIs
- Razorpay (payments)
- EmailJS (transactional email, if enabled)
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
4. Data retention & deletion
Chat history and profile data remain associated with your account until you request deletion.
How to request deletion of your data (without deleting your account) or full account deletion:
- Email us at meetcasemate@gmail.com from the same email used to sign up.
- Subject line: casemate data deletion request or casemate account deletion request.
- Include your registered name and what you want deleted (specific data, or full account).
We will process verified requests and delete associated cloud account data from our systems (Firebase / related services) within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons.
5. Security
We use industry-standard providers (Firebase) and authenticated access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for legal professionals and adults. It is not directed to children under 13.
