AI legal drafting for Indian advocates

casemate prepares the first draft of a court paper from the documents you already have. You add the case files, describe what you need, and choose a template. The draft follows that document's layout: heading, parties, facts, grounds, prayer and verification where that document uses them.

How a draft is made

  1. Sign in at meetcasemate.com and open a new case.
  2. Upload the papers for this matter: the FIR, the notice, the agreement, or the previous order.
  3. Choose a template, such as a bail application, a legal notice, a plaint, or a judgment if you are in Judge mode.
  4. Read the draft. Correct names, dates, sections and the relief. File it only after that review.

Templates

Advocates can pick from a large set of Indian document types, grouped by practice area: criminal, civil, family, property, cheque dishonour, consumer, writs, labour, arbitration and more. Judges have separate judgment and order templates. A template is a blank layout. It is not a court-ready form by itself.

Common starting points: bail application, legal notice, Section 138 cheque notice.

casemate does not replace an advocate's judgment on maintainability, limitation, jurisdiction or the section that actually applies. For criminal matters, cite the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita or the Code of Criminal Procedure according to the date of the offence, after you have checked which one applies.
